Strange things can happen
when you decide to move the family cemetery to a new location.
In Newberry, South Carolina
workers were relocating a family cemetery (after the local county
purchased the property) when they unearthed some unusual caskets. Made of
cast iron and dating from the 1800s, the caskets are extremely rare and
would have been expensive.
Though workers did not open
the caskets, one had been damaged by the elements. Inside, they saw the mummified
remains of a 10-month-old boy.
