A portion of a stunning sandstone wall from the Temple Tat Kawa in Nubia built by Taharqa in the 25th Dynasty (about 680 B.C.). Taharqa was comparable to Rameses II in terms of being a great builder of monuments. The Ashmolean also houses a beautiful shrine to Taharqa.
