Michael Moseley's The Incas and their Ancestors is
an excellent book, both
scholarly and readable. Though it doesn't focus primarily on mummies, it contains
pertinent information about the mummies of Incan rulers and mountain sacrifices, for
example. Moseley also covers Paracas and Chinchorro mummies as well.
