The Complete Tutankhamun by Nicholas Reeves is one of the best books ever written about King Tut, his tomb and treasure. Filled with over 500 photographs and illustrations (including 65 in color), this oversized book covers Tutankhamun and his time, the search and discovery of his tomb, the archaeology of the tomb, his burial, and the treasures of his tomb. Even without the photographs, the text of this book alone makes the discovery so real and exciting that you feel that you're there (plus you avoid the curse of King Tut). An excellent resource for teachers. Ages 11-Adult (though younger children couldn't read it, they would appreciate the photographs if they know the King Tut story).
