Bog
Bodies by Janet Buell
is part of the Time Travelers series intended for school libraries. It is
a sturdily-bound and well-researched look at bog bodies which begins with
the discovery of Lindow Man. Buell is a lively writer and children
interested in bog bodies will find lots of fascinating information here. The
biggest drawback is the book's stodgy design: it looks like a school book
but hopefully that won't stop interested readers. With 19 photographs (most in color), source notes, glossary,
timeline, further reading, and index.
